This orchid is easy to grow in South Florida. The key to sucess: it MUST dry quickly. Do not let it stay wet, otherwise the roots will rot. If you grow it outside in South Florida, consider mounting the orchid. If you have it in a pot and it gets the heavy rains of summer, you could rot it out. The downside to mounting is when the weather is both hot and dry, you will have to water once a day and on the hottest days you may have to water more than once.
